north of Peterborough. Your choice of six Rustic cottages, landscaped gardens and

back over fifty years make this one of the ideal locations to stay on vacation in
the Kawarthas.
Your stay at the Silver Sands Resort offers you the opportunity to enjoy not just
the beauty of Sandy Lake but also the lakes and rivers in the area with many recreational
activities such as swimming, boating and fishing. Buckhorn is only 5 minutes away,
is rich in culture with its many art galleries, antique stores and flea markets

With the City of Peterborough only 20 minutes away there is access to Shopping Malls,
Restaurants and Movie Theatres. You will have no trouble finding a safe beach or

the boats go through the locks or just relax with a good book on the landscaped
